Easter

Easter is the climax of the Christian story. Jesus Christ having been put to death on a cross on Good Friday, laid in a tomb borrowed from one of his followers, is visited by some of his women followers to anoint and properly bury his body only to find that it is no longer there. An angel tells them that he has risen from the dead, which is confirmed when the risen Jesus speaks to his follower Mary Magdalene, and sends her back to the rest of his followers to tell them what she has seen and heard.
